Holiday Adoption Program

Each year, Matthews HELP Center identifies needy families in the area and matches them with various donors to provide holiday gifts and food. Thanks to the support of our caring donors, we were able to serve 218 families during the 2010 holiday season and 249 familes in 2011.

This program depends on individuals or groups willing to provide gifts for individuals or families in need. Our recent experience with client need tells us that this is going to be a year for the record books as far as families needing holiday assistance.

Every year, givers express what a blessing this program has been for them. Here are what several givers have shared:

It’s impossible to share all the tears, hugs and laughter we hear when families come to pick up their gifts. It is impossible NOT to share what a heart-warming experience it is to be part of this program every year.
